Ghacem in Ghana's development

Our factories in Tema and Takoradi, have produced over 30 million tonnes of cement since inception in 1967.

Ghacem continues to contribute to the economic development in Ghana with adequate investment to meet the nations needs when it comes to cement production. From 2012 to 2015 Ghacem spent over 52 Million Euros in expansion investment in Tema and Takoradi. In recent times, Ghacem has announced a 1.5Million tons state of the art cement factory in Kumasi worth 100 Million Dollars. Ghacem is a coner stone of Ghana 's infrastractural development having played part in major iconic monuments and buidlings across Ghana using Ghacem cement.  These expansion works have improved the quality of Ghacem cement, reduced energy consumption at the factories, ensured efficient production and reduced environmental impact of the plants operations.

The three international certificates aquired for our operations since 2008 are:

• ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
• OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety)
• ISO 9001 (Quality management System)

Currently, Ghacem has a number of accredited Distributors and Direct Customers through-out the country. Periodic meetings are held with these cherished Customers to establish the necessary partnership and a fruitful journey between the two. An awards ceremony is held at the begining of every year to honour these galant Distributors and Direct Customers.
